We're excited to announce a few significant changes coming to our platform!
We've been hard at work changing the structure of Pangea Health's platform to increase transparency for partners, create more task flexibility, and enable reps to take sales further while in office. Much of what Pangea's Health team assisted with and managed before will fall onto the partner or the rep, giving more control over sales strategy to the product and service experts and giving reps a more direct communication line with the partners they are promoting.

Partner Associations

In the past, reps were encouraged to download the app and then were given access to various partners depending on their region. As of now, we are changing this process to a marketplace model. This means reps are now prompted to create a profile using this form that will be shown to partners on our platform. Partners will then be able to browse our available reps, reach out to these reps directly, and hire them through the platform. This is to ensure both partners and reps find a match that works best for them.

Employment Terms and Compensation

Before today, Pangea Health provided reps with a set compensation rate and employment terms based on the partner's bandwidth and our standard compensation model. These terms will now be decided directly between the partner and the rep. This means that payment can be a set rate or 100% commission based, similar to our prior model, etc. Time commitment and scheduling will also be handled directly between the rep and the partner, giving you more freedom to advocate for the terms you'd prefer. We will still provide agreement templates and recommendations to help reps and partners create a beneficial and fair agreement.

Payment

The frequency and amounts of payments will be determined by the rep and partner.

Training

How the rep will be trained will be decided by the partner. They will still have the option to offer in-app training, but they will also have the option to train their new reps another way.

Office Data

Like before, leads will still be provided to reps via our platform. Whether or not reps are able to add new leads will be dependent on the agreement between the partner and the rep. This will hopefully provide more autonomy and transparency over lead data for the reps.

Marketing Materials

Marketing materials will still be ordered through the app.

Visit Tasks

Similar to our previous model, reps must be within several feet of the selected provider's office to start a visit. However, once the visit is started, we will no longer require reps to fulfill a set list of tasks. Instead, the tasks completed during an office visit will be decided between the rep and the partner.

Partner Pausing or Leaving

We realize the inconvenience and frustration of a partner pausing or leaving our platform with little notice. We understand that reps rely on these contracted jobs for income. Therefore, we are now requiring partners to provide reps with a 30-day notice if a partner is pausing, leaving, or retiring a rep after the 14 day trial period has ended.

Getting Started

Reps who have already been a part of our platform do not have to reapply or complete an additional background check. If you'd like to rejoin the platform, we ask that you create a rep profile by filling out a quick form with a few short questions. Once you've completed this form, your profile will be visible to any partners we have on the platform. Partners who are interested will then reach out to you directly.We understand that change is not often easy and we are here to help if you need us.
